J-Button is the first button for jean made from 0% plastic and a sustainable alternative to metal or metal and fossil based plastic buttons.
Made with an innovative bio composite material, it has a high mechanical and thermal resistance and no customization limits about textures, logos and visual and tactile effects, thanks to our amazing natural pigments and fillers.
THE BIO COMPOSITE MATERIALS BY POLIVE
Polive is an innovative Italian start-up that develops sustainable materials and processes for the circular economy. It has designed alternative solutions to traditional fossil-based plastics for our products, with the same performance, mechanical and thermal, but in a responsible way.
The origin of our materials is 100% biobased, from renewable sources that do not compete with the food chain, and, after a long life and use cycle, 100% biodegradable, even in the marine environment, and 100% compostable, home and industrial.
Unlike traditional metal buttons for jeans, we do not use any chemical product or galvanic process for finishing, but we add in our recipes only natural additives to create surprising visual and tactile effects.
Of course all our materials are vegan and cruelty free, because we love our whole planet!
